The latest in commercial seating

James Richardson (JR) recently hosted an industry event showcasing the latest in commercial seating. There were some great pieces on display from woven and stainless steel outdoor chairs, small cafe style stools with contrasting socks, and solid timber waiting room chairs.

These chairs would be great in an office or commercial setting, medical / dental waiting area, or cafe / bar / restaurant.

We also enjoyed JR's teacup inspired showroom installation!

Ashy's Clean Eating Kitchen

kdw design is proud to be the interior designers of the brand new Ashy's Clean Eating Kitchen on the Gold Coast.

Ashy's Clean Eating Kitchen is owned by Australian fitness icon Ashy Bines. The Kitchen (a cafe / restaurant) is all about health - clean, non-artificial food, done simply.

We designed the fitout to reflect this theme, and to also embrace the vibrant, active persona of Ashy herself. The space incorporates bright chevron printed surfaces, natural and pink feature pendant lights and a mix of light timbers and coloured fabrics.

Congratulations Ashy and team, Ashy's Clean Eating Kitchen is sure to be a great success just like the Ashy Bines Bikini Body Challenge.

Luscious & Luxurious

The kdw team attended the launch of the Arteriors Home and Skyline Design collections at the gorgeous Boyd Blue showroom last week.

The combination of patterns and textures within these collections is spectacular. The collections include indoor and outdoor pieces that can be featured on their own as a dramatic statement, or mixed and matched to create an eclectic, luscious look.

Thanks to Boyd Blue for letting us have a sneak peak of these new collections. We can't wait to select pieces from the collections for upcoming retail, commercial and cafe/bar/restaurant fitouts.

Replicating Nature

It's amazing how close we can get to the real thing these days. These flooring/wall tiles and wall vinyls by Baresque and Metro Tiles so vividly replicate timber, clay and brick. The natural ripples and indentations in the products really do look and feel like natural forms.

We are looking forward to using these products in commercial office spaces; restaurants, bars and cafes; and reception/waiting areas in offices, medical / dental fitouts.
